Combining more than 10 years of experience in media, communications, and psychology, Minal Bopaiah is a journalist and entrepreneur using her experience to help socially conscious organizations harness the power of media to affect social change. She is also one of the founding members of TAP news, a website dedicated to reporting on international development in a way that moves and inspires readers, and a regular guest on The Morning Mixer on One Caribbean Radio, 97.9 HD2 and on Tears to Triumph on Blog Talk Radio. She holds a Master’s degree in clinical psychology, and has worked for The McGraw-Hill Companies, Boston Metro, Doctors Without Borders, and Sesame Workshop—the creators of Sesame Street. She has been interviewed by CBS Evening News and is available to comment on international development issues, the ethical use of media, mental health stigma, and the portrayal of women in the media.
