The release of U.S. military documents on the war in Afghanistan by whistleblower website, WikiLeaks, has sparked a debate. While the Obama administration claims that the information released is “old news” and condemns the website for endangering U.S. troops, the documents paint a far more grim picture of the war than has been officially portrayed. Having worked in Afghanistan on issues of governance and public policy, and an expert for the U.S. Army’s Training and Doctrine Command Center for Intelligence, Patricia DeGennaro is available for comment. An alumnae of Women's Media Center's Progressive Women's Voices program, DeGennaro has been featured as an expert source for CNN, BBC News, Al Jazeera, PBS, PressTv, Fox News and NPR. See Bio Here >>
